Political Comic Series 政治漫畫系列

vawongsir's online comic works in political subjects that have been created since 2019. They were satirical works reflected from the world’s news in a humorous, simplified and comprehensible way. They have also recorded the changes in his life in the past years from loss of his teaching qualification from the accusation of professional misconduct from just publishing anti-government comics by the Hong Kong Education Bureau. The artworks were later criticised by the Mainland Chinese media for posting messages of inciting hatred. Eventually vawongsir was forced to depart Hong Kong and began my life in exile from 2022.  This series of works are symbolic without text, they are silent screams from his heart.

vawongsir自2019年至今於網上社交媒體發表的超過300幅政治漫畫，透過簡潔而市井的風格，以詼諧的方式描繪世界的種種荒謬現象，既是時代的見證，也是一種無聲的抗議。這些作品不僅反映社會現況，亦記錄了作者自身的經歷與變遷——包括作品涉及反政府題材而被教育局裁定為「教師專業失德」，最終失去教席；其後，更因作品被中國大陸媒體指控「煽動仇恨情緒」，在政治壓力下於2022年被迫流亡海外。這個系列的漫畫幾乎沒有對話文字，而是以符號化的意象構築強烈的視覺語言，在靜默之中傳遞嘶吼般的訊息。它們既是個人情感的宣洩，也映照著時代的無奈與掙扎。
